Simplifying our Login
We originally introduced Eduten Playground as the name for the ‘working’ area of our platform, where students learn and play. Here, students logged in at playground.eduten.com to access the platform and we referred to it as Eduten Playground. As the company and the platform grew, we noticed that the name Eduten Playground began to cause confusion.
What does this mean for users? Essentially, nothing changes about the way users login. Even if they use the old URL, it will redirect to the new one. So this is just a ‘good to know’.

Brand Communication
The Eduten brand is not just for younger people, who might enjoy being in a playground. It is for students of all ages. As a part of the simplification process, we will no longer use the term Eduten Playground. You can refer to the platform itself as Eduten Platform.
The company is still known as Eduten.

Upholding the Science Behind the Product
Eduten is a university-led, academic product for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12. The best pedagogy experts work behind the scenes to deliver a product that reflects Eduten’s academic roots. As we’ve spread worldwide, we’ve realized that the word playground doesn’t match the academic rigor behind Eduten.
What does this mean for you? We ask that you don’t use the word ‘playground’ when selling or introducing the Eduten platform from now on.
What Happens Next?
We haven’t actually changed the name, just dropped a word- so there’s not much that is required of you other than spreading the word to your schools.
As Eduten grows it evolves, therefore, we want to share these changes with our teams globally.
