A mathematics learning research pilot in Argentinian vocational schools using the AI-powered Eduten learning platform has yielded impressive results. The pilot included a pre-post study with treatment and control groups, and the analysis of the results showed that the students using Eduten outperformed their peers in the control group who learned using traditional methods. Eduten group showed an improvement of 16.5%, whereas the control group did not improve their learning results during the 6-week pilot. In addition, the teacher survey indicated that 82% of the participating teachers support wider adoption of the Eduten platform in their schools.
The pilot involved 687 second-year students in 16 technical schools from the National Institute of Technological Education (INET), located across various provinces of Argentina. The students used Eduten’s digital mathematics exercises on a weekly basis while being monitored and supported by their teacher through Eduten’s learning analytics. The pilot was organized by INET, Eduten and Matic Soluciones Educativas.
Eduten is an AI-based gamified, assessment and learning analytics platform for K12 that is used in 50+ countries to improve the learning results of millions of students. Eduten has also won numerous awards, e.g. the UNESCO ICT for Education Prize and the UNICEF Blue Unicorn Special Edtech Award. Eduten is also included in the UNICEF Learning Cabinet, which is an EdTech discovery platform designed for education decision-makers worldwide to identify learning tools that are safe, scalable, adaptable and impactful.
